We should deport illegal aliens

From: Howard Arola, Dassel

Here is something to think about.

Many may not know this, but during the Great Depression in the early 1930s, our president at the time, Herbert Hoover, ordered the deportation of all illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens who were desperately trying to find work.

In post World War II America, President Harry Truman deported more than two million illegals to create jobs for returning veterans.

In 1954, President Dwight D. Eisenhower deported 19 million Mexican nationals. It was done so World War II and Korean veterans would have a better chance to get jobs.

In the end, remember – don’t forget to pay your taxes, because 12 million illegal aliens are depending on you.
