Chocolate Brownies

1 1/3 cups flour

1/2 tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking powder

1 cup butter (not margarine)

1 1/4 cup cocoa

2 cups sugar

4 eggs, room temperature

1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

1/2 cup walnut or pecan pieces

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease 9x13'inch pan.

Stir flour, salt and baking powder together. Set aside.

Melt butter. Stir in cocoa. With mixer, combine cocoa mixture and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in vanilla. Add walnuts,

Bake 30 minutes, 350°. Do not over bake.

Frosting

6 T. butter/margarine

6 T. milk

1 1/2 cups sugar

2/3 cup chocolate chips

Bring to boil and boil 1 minute. Add chocolate chips and vanilla. Beat until cool. Spread on cooled bars.
