Chocolate Cookies1/2 cup cocoa 1 3/4 cup flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt Combine above dry ingredients. Cream 1/2 cup shortening 1 cup sugar Add 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 cup milk Add dry ingredients. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 375° F for 5 minutes. Remove from oven, cut marshmallows in 1/2 and top cookies. Bake an additional 30-45 minutes. After cookies have cooled, frost with your favorite cooked chocolate frosting. This is a very small batch of cookies. Double the recipe to maximize your frosting. These are a very decadent cookie. |
