Cherry Squares
1 cup margarine
4 eggs
3 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can cherry pie filling
Cream margarine and sugar; add eggs, one at a time. Add flavoring and sifted dry ingredients. Place 1/2 batter in small jelly roll pan. Drop spoonfuls of cherry pie filling over batter. Then, spoon remaining batter over the top. Bake 30-35 minutes in 350° oven. Drizzle with powdered sugar glaze.
