Filled Chocolate Cupcakes1 package chocolate cake mix. Prepare as directed on the box. Filling 8 ounces cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup sugar 1 egg 1/2 cup chocolate chips 1/2 tsp. vanilla Combine filling ingredients in medium-size bowl. Fill each cupcake liner 1/2 full with cake batter. Add spoonful of filling. Bake 350° approximately 30 minutes or until cake springs back when pressed. When cooled, frost with vanilla powdered sugar frosting if desired. Makes approximately 24 cupcakes. |
