Reese's Chewy Chocolate Cookies
2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 cup margarine or butter
2 cups sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
10 oz. pkg. peanut butter chips
Heat oven to 350°.
Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Beat together butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chips.
Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8-9 minutes. Do not overbake. They will flatten while cooling. Cool slightly; remove to wire rack.
Pan version: Spread batter in greased jelly roll pan. Bake 350°, 20 minutes or until set.
Ice cream cookies: Prepare cookies as directed; cool. Press scoop of vanilla ice cream between flat sides of cookies. Wrap and freeze.
