Salted Peanut Bars

1 1/2 cup flour

2/3 cup brown sugar

1/2 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp.. soda

1/2 cup margarine, softened

1 tsp. vanilla

2 egg yolks

2 cups Rice Krispies®

3 cups miniature marshmallows

2/3 cup corn syrup

1/4 cup margarine

2 tsp. vanilla

12 oz. pkg. peanut butter chips

2 cups salted peanuts

Combine first 8 ingredients. Mix until crumbly. Press in bottom of ungreased 9x13-inch pan. Bake 350° for 12-15 minutes. Immediately sprinkle with marshmallows. Bake an additional 1-2 minutes or until marshmallows start to puff.

Cool while preparing topping.

In a large saucepan, combine corn syrup, margarine, vanilla and chips. Stir constantly until chips are melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in cereal and nuts. Immediately spoon over marshmallows and spread to cover. Cool.
