2 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup butter, softened
8 oz pkg. cream cheese
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
3 1/2 cups apples, chopped and peeled
Combine flour, brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut in butter until it looks like crumbs. Add nuts. Reserve 2 cups for the top. Press remainder into a 9x13 greased pan.
Beat cream cheese and milk together until smooth. Mix in egg, sugar, and vanilla. Pour over crust. Top with apples and sprinkle remaining crumbs over the top. Bake 350° for 30 minutes.
Serve warm or refrigerate until serving. Store in refrigerator.
Hint: Either add more butter to the crust if serving right away or allow moisture from cooling into the crumbs.
