Hershey Bar Cake
1 cup buttermilk
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 sticks butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2/3 cup Hershey's® chocolate syrup
7 milk chocolate bars, about 11 oz., melt and cool
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease bundt/tube cake pan.
Measure buttermilk and set aside. Combine flour, salt, and baking soda with wire whisk. Set aside. Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla with hand mixer. Add syrup and melted chocolate. Mix well. Blend in buttermilk. Gradually add flour mixture until well combined.
Pour into prepared pan. Bake 45-55 minutes. Cover with foil immediately after removing from oven. Cover until cake is completely cooled. Remove from pan. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate glaze.
