Pumpkin Cheesecake Dessert

Crust

3/4 cup flour

1 1/2 T sugar

1/4 cup butter or margarine, cut into chunks

1 egg yolk

Filling

2 pkg. (3 oz. ea.) cream cheese, softened

3/4 cup sugar

2 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. ginger

1/4 tsp. cloves

2 eggs

16 oz. can pumpkin

1 cup sour cream

6 T. sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

Pecan halves optional

Preheat oven 300°. Combine flour, sugar and butter. Stir in egg yolk until dough forms a smooth ball. Press on bottom and up about 1/2 inch in a 9-inch springform pan. Bake 30 minutes. Cool.

Beat cream cheese, sugar, spices until smooth. Blend in 2 eggs, then pumpkin, mix thoroughly. Pour onto crust and bake 325° about 35 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

Combine sour cream, sugar and vanilla. Spread evenly over filling and return to oven. Bake additional 10 minutes longer. Cool and refrigerate. Garnish with pecan halves if desired.
