Fresh Peach Dessert Sauce

2 ripe fresh peaches, peeled and sliced

2 tsp. butter

1 T. brown sugar

2 tsp. rum, optional

Melt butter in small sauce or saute pan. Add peaches and brown sugar. Saute or low to medium heat 5 minutes. Add optional rum and cook an additional minute.

Serve warm over ice cream or unfrosted cake. Serves 2.

This is a great way to use overripe fruit.
