Lean Meatballs

3 slices first white bread, diced

1 pound lean ground beef

1 pound ground turkey

2 large egg whites

1/2 cup Romano or parmesan cheese

3 T. grated onion

2 T minced fresh parsley

1 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. pepper

1 clove garlic, minced

In large bowl combine bread and water and hand mix until evenly moist. Add additional ingredients and form into 2-inch meatballs. Preheat oven to 425° and lightly spray jellyroll pan lined with foil. Bake 15-20 minutes until lightly browned. Makes about 24 meatballs.
