Minnesota State Fair Turkey Marinade

1 lb. turkey tenderloins

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup cooking sherry

2 T. lemon juice

Dash of pepper

Dash of garlic salt

2 T. chopped onion

1/4 tsp. ground ginger

Combine ingredients and pour over turkey tenderloins in glass or plastic container. Marinate 6-8 hours in refrigerator. Grill 3 to 4 minutes per side over hot coals or 8-10 minutes over medium fire.

Note: Pounding the thickest part of the tenderloin muscle will prevent curling or pulling during cooking.
