Deluxe Pork Stir Fry

1 lb. boneless pork, pork chop or pork steak

1/4 cup cooking oil

2 T. soy sauce

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tsp. ginger

2 tsp wine vinegar

1 tsp. cornstarch

1/4 tsp pepper

2 carrots, peeled and cut thinly

2 cups broccoli

1/4 cup onion

Green pepper

Pea pods

2/3 cup beef broth

1/3 cup white cooking wine

1 T. cornstarch

1/2 tsp sugar

Hot, cooked rice

Cut pork into thin, bite-size strips. Combine marinade: 2 T. oil, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, vinegar, cornstarch and pepper.

Add pork, stirring to coat well. Marinate 4 hours or overnight.

Using remaining oil stir-fry vegetables. Remove and stir-fry pork. Add vegetables back into wok and add combined broth, wine, cornstarch and sugar. Cook until thickened. Makes six servings.
