8 oz. manicotti
15 oz. ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
10 oz. package frozen spinach, thawed and drained
24 oz. jar tomato and basil pasta sauce
2 tsp. oregano
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 lb. ground beef, browned
Prepare manicotti as directed. Do not over cook.
Brown ground beef with onion. Add pasta sauce and oregano. Simmer while preparing the filling.
In large bowl combine mozzarella, ricotta, spinach, egg, and parmesan cheese. Spoon mixture into cooked shells and place in greased 9"x13" pan. Pour sauce over shells.
Cover with foil and bake in 350° oven for 30 minutes.
Top with additional 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and bake an additional 10-15 minutes.
