Oven Caramel Corn
2 cup brown sugar
2 sticks butter
1/2 cup white corn syrup
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
Make about eight cups of popcorn (2 medium roaster pans). Combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, and salt. Boil for 5 minutes. Stir in soda. Pour immediately over popped corn.
Place in 250° oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes. Pour out onto waxed paper to cool. Store in tight-fitting container.
