Rogue River Dip

On a trip up the Rogue River in southern Oregon, cousin Jim Shores was treated to a fantastic dip (great with chips, bread chunks etc). Here it is.

1 pound hamburger

1 pound ground pork

2 pound loaf Velveeta® Cheese

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 small jar of salsa or diced tomatoes), (Italian style might work too)

Dash or two of cayenne pepper

Brown meat and salt and pepper to taste. Put in crock pot with cheese soup, salsa or tomatoes, and the cayenne pepper. Note: cut cheese into reasonable size chunks to promote melting),

Stir during the meltdown.

It's ready when it's melted.

Fantastic. Can be re-heated in the microwave.
