Apples and Yams

2 apples, peeled and sliced

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 tsp. cinnamon

2 (17 oz.) cans yams drained

1/4 cup margarine

2 cups miniature marshmallows

Toss apples and nuts combined with sugar and cinnamon. Alternate apples and yams in a 1 1/2 quart casserole or baking pan. Dot with margarine. Bake 350°, 35-40 minutes. Sprinkle with marshmallows. Return to oven until light brown or broil.
