Marinated Sweet Onions
3/4 cup vineagar
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
Stir until sugar dissolves. Add approximately four sweet onions cut in 1/8'inch slices. Cover and refrigerate at least overnight. The container should be disposable as any container will retain a disagreeable odor.
After marinating, drain and combine generously with mayonaise or Miracle Whip and 1/2-1 tsp. celery seed. Store in covered container.
