
Lester Prairie offers splendid fun in the heart of the prairie

There will be something for everyone during Prairie Days 2007.
Lester Prairie will celebrate its annual community festival Friday and Saturday, June 15 and 16.
Friday’s events include a kiddie parade, softball, K&K Fun Times, and a carnival. For information about the softball tournament, contact Steve Dietel (320) 395-9877.
Live music will be provided by the Beer Daddys from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Food and beer will be available starting at 4 p.m.
Saturday events will include:

• Polish horseshoe tournament, 9 a.m. sign up, 10 a.m. start.
• walk/run 9 a.m.
• K&K Fun Times all day.
• Carnival sponsored by the Lester Prairie Business Association.

To round out the day, there will be a fireworks display at dusk, and live music by Crimson Edge from 8 p.m. to midnight.
On Sunday morning, there will be church services from 9-10 a.m. and a community education breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon.
