March 25, 2013
The March 25, 2013 School Board work session meeting of the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted ISD #2687 was called to order at 6:01 p.m.. by Chairman Schaible. After the pledge of allegiance, roll was taken with the following members present: Schaible, Kocher, Smith, Weibel, Tintes, Wiech, and Heuer. Also present were Superintendent Brad Sellner, Principals Jason Mix and Jim Schimelpfenig, Dean of Students Jason Kuehn, Special Education Coordinator Karrie Taylor, Todd Netzke and Donna Wilson, SMS Financial Consultants, and Board Secretary Marilyn Greeley.
(Item IV) Heuer motioned to approve the agenda; Wiech seconded; passed unanimously.
(Item V) There were no questions or comments from visitors.
(Item VI, Subd. A) H. John Huenink and Pat Sims, representatives from Kraus-Anderson Construction Company, reviewed their services. Each board member asked questions and Kraus-Anderson responded.
(Item VI, Subd. B) Superintendent Sellner reviewed the 2013-14 preliminary budget information.
(Item VI, Subd. C) Superintendent Sellner reviewed the Building Referendum Committees suggestions on public meetings, communications, and they are designing a brochure to be delivered to the public on April 22nd.
Sellner confirmed with the board members they are considering a construction manager for the upcoming building project. Schaible asked if anyone was not interested in going this way; the consensus of the board was to pursue a construction manager.

Weibel motioned to adjourn at 9:10 p.m.; Tintes seconded; passed unanimously
