|BOARD OF EDUCATION WORK SESSION MEETING
Tuesday May 27, 2014
HLWW HS Media Center
The May 27, 2014 School Board Work Session meeting of the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted ISD #2687 was called to order at 6:08 pm. by Chairman Schaible. After the pledge of allegiance, roll was taken with the following members present: Schaible, Heuer, Wiech, Tintes, and Smith; absent: Weibel; Kocher arrived at 6:25 p.m. Also present was Superintendent Brad Sellner.
(Item IV) Heuer motioned to approve the agenda; Smith seconded; passed unanimously.
(Item V) There were no questions or comments from visitors.
(Item VI, Subd. A) Tintes motioned to reject the bid from Anderson Ladd, Inc.; Heuer seconded; passed unanimously.
(Item VI, Subd. B) Smith motioned to approve the bid from H & B Specialized Products, Inc.; Tintes seconded; passed unanimously.
(Item VI, Subd. C) Wiech motioned to approve the case work bid from LSI Corporation of America, Inc.; Heuer seconded; passed unanimously.
(Item VI, Subd. D) Wiech motioned to approve the commissioning proposal from Dunham; Smith seconded; passed unanimously.
(Item VI, Subd. E) Jill Bills and Jim Wilson, from Wendel Companies, reviewed flooring and color options for the middle school project. The board discussed the options. Peterson also indicated the final WAC and SAC fees from the City of Howard Lake are in and are slightly lower than the first estimate from the City; and the final building permit has been issued.
(Item VI, Subd. F) Mike Hennek and Andy Bright, from 4.O School Services presented information about their services. The board will review the information.

Heuer motioned to adjourn at 7:32 p.m.; Smith seconded; passed unanimously.
