City of Howard Lake Parking Ordinance
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 12.09 ADOPTED JUNE 3, 1997 BY AMENDING SAID ORDINANCE IN ITS ENTIRETY.
The City Council of the City of Howard Lake, Minnesota ordains:
Section 1. No motor vehicle of any kind shall be allowed to park, stand or stop on the north and south sides of U.S. Trunk Highway 12 from the East Howard Lake City limits to the West Howard Lake City limits. Emergency vehicles and State, County or City maintenance vehicles are exempt from this ordinance.
Section 2. Penalty. Any individual, owner or operator or any business or corporate owner or operator violating this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be subject to a fine of not more than $1000 or imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or both. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication according to law.
