RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUMMARY PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCE NO. 2017-06 ESTABLISHING CHARGES FOR EMERGENCY RESPONSE SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Howard Lake adopted Ordinance No. 2017-06 at the July 18, 2017 meeting to establish charges for emergency response services; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 412.191, subd. 4, allows publication by title and summary in the case of lengthy ordinances or those containing charts or maps; and
WHEREAS, a printed copy of the Ordinance is available for inspection at City Hall during regular office hours; and
WHEREAS, the Howard Lake City Council has approved the text of this summary for publication and has determined that this summary clearly informs the public of the intent and effect of Ordinance 2017-06.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Howard Lake that the following summary of Ordinance 2017-06 is approved for publication:
CITY OF HOWARD LAKE
The City Council of the City of Howard Lake on the 18th day of July 2017, adopted Ordinance 2017-06, entitled “An Ordinance Establishing Chages for Emergency Response Services.” The ordinance adopts a system of charges for various emergency responses provided by the Howard Lake Fire Department and other emergency response entities to properties within the City of Howard Lake and to vehicle-related emergencies. All charges are billed according to a uniform fee schedule expected to be adopted by all municipalities in Wright County.
