City of Howard Lake Nuisance Ordinance

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY OF HOWARD LAKE ORDINANCE NO. 19.02, ADOPTED MAY 12, 2000, AND ENTITLED "REGULATING

INOPERABLE AND UNLICENSED MOTOR VEHICLES AND ALSO

REGULATING ABANDONED MOTOR VEHICLES" BY ADDING SAID

SECTION 2.06 STORAGE OF INOPERABLE OR UNLICENSED VEHICLES.

The City Council of Howard Lake ordains:

Section 1. Ordinance No. 19.02, adopted May 12, 2000, and entitled "An Ordinance Regulating Inoperable And Unlicensed Motor Vehicles And Also Regulating Abandoned Motor Vehicles" is amended by adding Section 2.6 to read as follows:

2.6 Storage of Inoperable or Unlicensed Vehicles. No more than one (1) vehicle may be kept outside if said vehicle is licensed and is being actively and consistently worked on and the premises on which the work is being done are maintained in an orderly manner. One (1) vehicle kept outside which complies with said provisions shall not be determined to be inoperable.

Section 2. City of Howard Lake Ordinance No. 19.02, adopted May 12, 2000, shall be restated and renumbered accordingly.

Section 3. This ordinance becomes effective from and after its passage and publication.

Passed by the Howard Lake City Council this 20th day of June, 2000.
