Lester Prairie City Council Minutes August 16, 2006 Pursuant to posted public notice, the Lester Prairie City Council met in special session on Wednesday, August 16, 2006. Mayor Angvall called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of said special session was to review and discuss the 2007 Fire Department Budget. Fire Chief Hoof presented the proposed 2007 Fire Department Budget. Minor increases were planned throughout the budget with the highest increases for legal and outside services ($500.00), Insurance and Bonds ($700.00), and Relief Association Contribution ($1,000.00). Discussion took place. General consensus of those in attendance was that the proposed 2007 Fire Department Budget was acceptable as presented and no changes were made.
