Lester Prairie City Council Minutes |
December 10, 2002 Pursuant to public notice, the Lester Prairie City Council met in special session on Tuesday, December 10, 2002. The purpose of said special session was to hold a public hearing to adopt the final 2003 budget and levy. Mayor Angvall called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and opened the public hearing. Clerk Pawelk informed those in attendance there is a proposed 13.3% increase in the levy and the total expenditures are proposed at $1,114.633.00. No public input was received. Discussion took place. Mayor Angvall closed the public hearing at 7:07 p.m. Councilmember Bruckschen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 33-02 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE LEVY FOR THE YEAR 2003. The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Foust and following discussion thereon, a vote was taken. Mayor Angvall declared resolution No. 33-02 adopted by a unanimous vote this 10th day of December, 2002 Motion Foust; Second Hoof; Carried Unanimously; To adopt the 2003 budget as proposed.
