AN ORDINANCE AMENDING

CHAPTER 5, SECTION 5.1.16.67,

SPECIFICALLY ZONING MAP

EXHIBIT “A”, LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY DESIGNATING THE SAME IN THE PARTICULAR

DISTRICTS OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LESTER PRAIRIE ORDAINS:

Section 1. Section 5.1.16.67, specifically Zoning Map Exhibit “A”, legal descriptions of property designated in the zoning provisions of the Lester Prairie Municipal Code is amended as follows:

B-2 Highway Commercial District shall be amended to the following is added: Tract 1: That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section Two (2) in Township One Hundred Sixteen (116) North of Range Twenty-seven (27) West described as follows: Beginning at a point on the East Line of said Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, which point is 33 feet East of the Northeast Corner of Lot 1 in Block 17 in the Town of Lester Prairie; thence Westerly, along the North line of said Block 17 and its Easterly extension, 220 feet; thence North parallel to the East line of said Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, 62 feet, more or less, to a point which is 8.5 feet South of the centerline of the spur line of the Dakota Railway, Inc.; thence Southeasterly and Easterly, along a line parallel with and 8.5 feet Southerly of the centerline of said spur line to a point on the East line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, at a point 8.5 feet South of the centerline of said spur lines; thence Southerly, along the East line of said Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter to the point of beginning.

Tract 2: West 500 feet of the North 20 acres of the Northeast Quarter of Southeast Quarter of Section Two (2) in Township One Hundred and Sixteen (116) North of Range Twenty-seven (27) West; being a part of Lot Forty-six (46) of Auditor’s Plat of Section 2 in Township 116 North of Range 27 West, McLeod County, Minnesota, EXCEPT that part of the West 500.00 feet of the North 20 acres of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 2, Township 116, Range 27, McLeod County, Minnesota, being a part of Lot 46 of Auditor’s Plat of Section 2, Township 116, Range 27 described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Lot 46, said corner being at the intersection of the East line of Irvington Avenue, according to the record plat of Lester Prairie and the North line of said Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence on an assumed bearing of South 1 degree 09’40” East along said East line of Irvington Avenue a distance of 134.68 feet to the point of beginning; thence North 89 degrees 55’30” East a distance of 139.90 feet; thence South 0 degrees 04’05” East a distance of 287.893 feet; thence South 89 degrees 55’17” West a distance of 134.41 feet to said East line of Irvington Avenue; thence North 1 degree 09’40” West along said East line a distance of 287.89 feet to the point of beginning.

M-1 Manufacturing District shall be amended so the following is deleted:

Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and in effect from and after its passage and publication.
