MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION SCHOOL DISTRICT #424, LESTER PRAIRIE, MINNESOTA Thursday, January 12, 2006 A special meeting of the Board of Education of District #424, Lester Prairie, McLeod County, Minnesota was held on Thursday, January 12, 2006, in the school media center. The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. by Chairman Fred Blaser. Roll call was taken with Board members present including: Fred Blaser, Chester Hoernemann, Melissa Williams, Jeff Hecksel and Jim Jorgenson. Robert Carlson was absent. The administration present included Joe Miller. Hoernemann led the Pledge of Allegiance. A motion was made by Chester Hoernemann and seconded by Jim Jorgenson to approve the agenda for this meeting as presented. Motion carried 5-0. There was no old business. In new business a discussion was held on the ratification of a tentative teacher contract for 2005-07. A motion was made by Chester Hoernemann and seconded by Jeff Hecksel to approve the tentative teacher contract for 2005-07. Motion passed 5-0. A motion was made by Jeff Hecksel and seconded by Jim Jorgenson to adjourn the meeting.
