An ordinance prohibited the keeping of livestock within the city of New Germany except within the agricultural (A) district.

The City Council fo the City of New Germany, Carver County, Minnesota, Ordains:

Section 1. Definition. The word or term "livestock" means cattle, sheep, swine, horses, ponies, donkeys, mules, hinnies, goats, buffalo, llamas or poultry.

Section 2. Livestock Prohibited. The owning, keeping, breeding, raising, maintaining, selling or buying of livestock in the City of New Germany is prohibited in all areas except within the Agricultural (A) District.

Section 3. Penalty. A violation of any provision of this ordinance shall be punished as a misdemeanor. Each day any such violation shall continue shall constitute a separate offense.

Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its passage and publication according to law.

Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of New Germany this 16th day of October, 2002.
