Notice is hereby given that the City Council will hold a public hearing on the 15th day of December, 2009 after the hour of 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers at 6390 Town Hall Drive, Greenfield, Minnesota. The purpose of the public hearing shall be to consider and possibly approve the vacation of drainage and utility easements that are situated between two properties located at 6535 71st Lane and 6555 71st Lane. The drainage and utility easement is legally described as follows:
The 20.00 foot drainage and utility easement as dedicated on the recorded plat of GREENVIEW, Hennepin County, Minnesota, that is centered on the common lot line of Lots 3 and 4, Block 1 of said GREENVIEW.
Persons wishing to comment should appear at the hearing or address their written comments to the City of Greenfield, 7738 Commerce Circle, Greenfield, MN, 55373. Materials relating to this hearing are available for review at the address above.

The regular meeting of the Board of Education of Independent School District 879, Delano, Minnesota, was held on Monday, October 26, 2009, in Delano City Hall. The meeting was called to order by the chair at 7:03 PM with the following members in attendance: Douglas, Schaust, Johnson, Milano, Seguin and Brasket. Absent: None

CONSENT AGENDA (approved unanimously)
Board approved the regular meeting minutes of 9-28-09, special meeting minutes of 10-8-09, the current budget status with year to date adjustments, wire transfers, Minnesota Liquid Assets fund, cash report, revenue and expense fund totals, expense reports and disbursements; and donations.
PERSONNEL
Board approved employment of HS Long Term Science Sub, contract change for MS Spec Ed Teacher, and resignation of ES Paraprofessional.
ADMINISTRATIVE AND BOARD REPORTS
Board heard the following administrative reports: Supt. Sweet reported on upcoming legislative workshop and Veterans Day Program, Q-Comp Goals and H1N1update, ES Prin Darren Schuler reported on Elementary School Improvement Plan; MS Prin Renee Klinkner reported on Food Middle School Improvement Plan, Q-Comp goals and fundraiser; HS Prin Matt Schoen reported on Blue Ribbon School Award and High School Improvement Plan..
Board heard reports from board members regarding MAWSECO, Wright Technical Center, Community Educ Advisory Council, Curriculum Advisory Council, Schools for Equity in Education, Delano Area Sports Arena, Safe Schools Staff Dev. and Site Based.

Call to order.
Members present Becky Schaust, Tim Douglas, Peter Brasket, Carolyn Milano, Lisa Seguin, Joy Bodin and Amy Johnson. Absent: none.
The purpose for the special meeting was for the Buffalo/Hanover/Montrose, Delano and Rockford School Boards to have a joint legislative meeting with their state elected officials.

SPECIAL SCHOOL BOARD MINUTES November 16, 2009Delano Public SchoolsIndependent School District #879, Delano Minnesota
Call to order at 6:00 p.m. by Peter Brasket, chair.
Members present Becky Schaust, Tim Douglas, Peter Brasket, Carolyn Milano, Lisa Seguin, Joy Bodin and Amy Johnson. Absent: none.
A special meeting was held. in the high school conference room to review preparations for November 30th Public Forum. Topics discussed were debrief of legislative meeting, SEE, review financial planning model, review tax impacts for operating levy, review ppt (finance and building capacity) and other discussion.
Reviewed a resolution limiting open enrollment for 2010-11.
Considered proposals for demolition of buildings on Althoff property. T Douglas moved, B Schaust seconded to accept a demolition proposal from Doboszenski and Sons. Motion passed 7-0.
A Johnson moved, Joy Bodin seconded to close the meeting at 8:40 pm for the purpose of discussing employee contract negotiations. Motion passed 7-0.
P Brasket re-opened the meeting at 9:12 pm.
B Schaust moved, T Douglas seconded to adjourn the meeting at 9:12 p.m. Motion passed 7-0.

CITY OF DELANONOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Delano Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing in the Council Chambers at Delano City Hall, 234 2nd Street North, on Monday, December 14, 2009 at 7:00 PM or there soon after as the parties may be heard to consider a request from Marc Gillet owner of the property dbs MAJG LLC, of the property located at 901, 903 and 905 Babcock Boulevard, for a Conditional Use Permit for an Automobile and Truck Repair Business (including body shops) for the properties legally described as Exhibit A to the City of Delano (PID Number 107500-131201) in accordance with the City’s Zoning and Land Use Code Chapter 51.21, Subd.D.1. All interested parties or individuals are hereby notified and invited to present their oral or written comments at said public hearing.
