New Developers & Business Recruitment
Whereas, the Economic Development Authority (EDA), Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council has endorsed a process for meeting with potential developers and new businesses; and
Whereas, Building & Land Use Regulations, Chapter 9, 904.20 Application meeting provisions are amended to include expanded communications after new business contact with the city offices; and
Whereas, the Application committee membership shall include the EDA Chairperson, Planning & Zoning Commission Chairperson, a City Council member as designated by the Mayor and the City Administrator, and
Now, Therefore Be It Resolved by the City Council of the City of Cokato, Wright County, Minnesota the Ordinance Amendment under Chapter 9, 904.20 establishes the Application Committee Process for New Developer and Business Recruitment is hereby adopted this 13th day of October 2009.

Ordinance 02-2009
Ordinance Amendment for Alternative Learning Center in a (C2) Highway Business District
Whereas, the Planning & Zoning Commission held a public hearing on the Ordinance Amendment application for the Alternative Learning Center as a Permitted Use; and
Whereas, the property is identified as 105-027-001050, located at 290 East Cokato Street in a (C2) Highway Business District; and
Whereas, CBC Properties and ISD #466 has successfully met all of the site conditions as outlined in city council approval dated July 19, 2007; and
Now, Therefore Be It Resolved the Cokato City Council, Wright County, Minnesota does hereby ordain that 903.04 Subdivision G (I) Highway Business District (C2) be amended to include the Alternative Learning Center (ALC) as a permitted use at 290 East Cokato Street.
Adopted this 13th day of October 2009 by the Cokato City Council, Wright County, Minnesota and shall be effective the day after its adoption and publication.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON PROPOSED VACATION OF
SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the city council of the city of Cokato, Minnesota will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 9, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers at city hall, 255 Broadway Avenue, Cokato, MN 55321. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider the vacation of a sanitary sewer easement in Klarbacken 2nd Addition. All interested persons may appear and be heard at the time and place set forth above.
