Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of New Germany will hold a public hearing beginning at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the City Hall located at 300 Broadway Street East, New Germany, Minnesota. The purpose of the hearing is to review the issuance of the liquor license of the Hook-N-Ladder Tavern in New Germany to David & Elly Heimerl.

NOTICE OF INTENT FOR MCLEOD COUNTY TO AMEND MCLEOD COUNTY SUBSURFACE SEWAGE TREATMENT SYSTEM ORDINANCE
PUBLIC HEARING
The McLeod County Subsurface Sewage Treatment System Committee will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Room at the Courthouse in Glencoe, Minnesota to explain the amendments to the Subsurface Sewage Treatment System Ordinance to incorporate the new State septic system requirements in Minnesota Rules, Chapters 7080 through 7083.
The following is a summary of the McLeod County Subsurface Sewage Treatment System Ordinance. A copy of the proposed amended Ordinance is on file for Public review in the McLeod County Environmental Services Office located in the Courthouse in Glencoe, Minnesota and at the Auditors Office located at North Complex in Glencoe, Minnesota, during regular business hours.
The proposed Amended Ordinance Summary includes: regulating the design, location, installation, construction, alteration, extension, repair, use and maintenance of individual sewage treatment systems; providing for inspection at the time of property transfer or otherwise; penalties for failure to comply.
