The City of Lester Prairie and IDS #424, will receive combined quotes for snow removal effective the months of November, 2009 through October 31, 2010. Quotes must be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office before 3 p.m. Thursday, October 8th, 2009. Quotes will be reviewed at 7:30 p.m. during the City Council meeting on October 13, 2009. A certificate of insurance will be required upon awarding the snow removal work. Quote sheets and information may be obtained from the City Clerk’s office between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Howard Lake will hold a public hearing on October 20, 2009 at 7:00 PM regarding the Municipal Liquor operations. The hearing will be held at the Howard Lake City Hall- 625 8th Avenue.
The purpose of the hearing is to provide citizens the opportunity to comment on the question of whether the city shall continue to operate a municipal liquor store. Individual citizens or representatives unable to attend the meeting may submit written comments prior to the hearing.
