PUBLIC HEARING
WRIGHT COUNTY PARKS DEPARTMENT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wright County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Board Room at the Wright County Government Center to consider acquiring a parcel of land in Monticello Township, located near the City of Monticello, Minnesota.
This public hearing will be held to allow citizens to voice their support and/or concerns for this possible land acquisition. The Wright County Parks Department plans to apply for financial assistance thru the State of Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Regional Park Legacy Grant Park Grant program, for this proposed acquisition.
An aerial photo of the property in question may be viewed at the Wright County Public Works Building and will also be available at the public hearing. All persons wishing to comment in reference to this project will be given the opportunity to do so at this hearing.

THESE HEARINGS will be held by the McLeod County Planning Commission at which time you may appear if you desire, either in person or by agent or attorney, in opposition to or support of the proposed Conditional Use. Thereafter, the McLeod County Planning Commission shall forward its recommendations to the County Board of Commissioners. If you desire to appeal the Planning Commission’s recommendations, you may take your request to the County Board, which has the final authority to act on the findings of the Planning Commission.
