The regular meeting of the Board of Education of Independent School District 879, Delano, Minnesota, was held on Monday, March, 22, 2010, at the Delano City Hall. The meeting was called to order by the chair at 7:00 PM with the following members in attendance: Douglas, Johnson, Milano, Bodin, Osmon, Seguin and Brasket. Absent: None
REPORTS AND INFORMATION FROM SCHOOL SOURCES

CONSENT AGENDA (approved unanimously)
Board approved the regular meeting minutes of 2-22-10, the current budget status with year to date adjustments, wire transfers, Minnesota Liquid Assets fund, cash report, revenue and expense fund totals, expense reports and disbursements; and donations.
PERSONNEL
Board approved retirement of DHS Social Studies teacher, DMS Para, resignations of DMS Phy Ed/DAPE teacher and 8th Gr. Math Teacher, hired Spec Ed. Para sub and TAC Monitor; Contract Changes of Youth Dev. Coord, Tech Coord, Volunteer Coordinators, Substitute Caller, and 6 lane changes, DMS Spec Ed Teacher Family Leave, and DHS Spec Ed Teacher 5 year leave.
ADMINISTRATIVE AND BOARD REPORTS
Board heard the following administrative reports: Supt. Sweet reported on state unallotment issues, working on the budget and Project Lead the Way; ES Prin Darren Schuler reported on Spring Conf attendance, MCA tutoring, Kindergarten roundup and Tiger Fun Fair; MS Prin Renee Klinkner reported on Math Masters, Field Trip, Project Lead the Way and Mr. Lindeman reported on 6th grade SMILE project; HS Prin Matt Schoen reported on Chinese program, Project Lead the Way, and trip to Spain.
Board heard reports from board members regarding MAWSECO, Wright Technical Center, Community Educ Advisory Council, Curriculum Advisory Council, Schools for Equity in Educ., Delano Area Sports Arena, Safe Schools, Staff Dev. and City/School Task Group.
