CITY OF LORETTO NOTICE OF FILING DATES FOR MUNICIPAL ELECTION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the dates for filing affidavits of candidacy for the City of Loretto, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, for the following offices to be voted for at the November 2, 2010 General Election will be from August 4, 2010 through August 16, 2010:
Mayor – Two-year term
Two Council Members – Four-year term each
Residents wishing to file may do so at City Hall, 259 Medina St. N., during regular office hours of 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Filing will close at 2:00 p.m. on August 17, 2010. The filing fee is $2.00.

NOTICE OF FILING DATES FOR ELECTION TO THE SCHOOL BOARDINDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 879DELANO PUBLIC SCHOOLSSTATE OF MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the period for filing affidavits of candidacy for the office of school board member of Independent School District No. 879 shall begin on August 3, 2010, and shall close at 5:00 o’clock p.m. on August 17, 2010.
The general election shall be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2010. At that election, three (3) members will be elected to the School Board for terms of four (4) years each and two (2) members will be elected to the School Board for terms of two (2) years each.
Affidavits of Candidacy are available from the school district clerk, 700 Elm Avenue East. The filing fee for this office is $2. A candidate for this office must be an eligible voter, must be 21 years of age or more on assuming office, must have been a resident of the school district from which the candidate seeks election for thirty (30) days before the general election, and must have no other affidavit on file for any other office at the same primary or next ensuing general election.
The affidavits of candidacy must be filed in the office of the school district clerk and the filing fee paid prior to 5:00 o’clock p.m. on August 17, 2010.

CITY OF DELANO
NOTICE OF FILING FOR THE NOVEMBER ELECTION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to those persons who wish to file for the office of City Council to be voted on in the City Election on November 2, 2010 should file with the Office of the City Clerk such intentions and pay the regular filing fee of $2.
The first day of filing is August 3, 2010, opening time 7:30 AM. The last day of filing is August 17, closing time 5:00 PM
The following will be voted on:
Mayor (4-year term)
Two City Council Members
(4-year terms)
The terms of Mayor Joe McDonald will expire December 31, 2010 and City Council Members Brad Hotchkiss and Larry Bartels will expire December 31, 2010. Those elected on November 2nd will begin their duties the first business day of 2011 and continue through the last business day of December 2014.
