The Special Meeting was called to order by Vice Chair Amy Johnson at 6:30 p.m. with the following Board members present: Tim Douglas, Carolyn Milano, Joy Bodin, Lisa Seguin and Amy Johnson. Peter Brasket arrived at 6:37 p.m.
Interviewed the following candidates for the school board:
Roger Shaefbauer, Paul Stansberry, Ann Thommes, Mark Erickson, Randy Durick, Sarah Baker and Ben Pupp.
Motion by L Seguin, seconded by P Brasket to adjourn the meeting at 10:25 p.m.

MINUTES Regular Meeting of the Board of EducationIndependent School District 879, Delano Public SchoolsNovember 22, 2010
The regular meeting of the Board of Education of Independent School District 879, Delano, Minnesota, was held on Monday, November 22, 2010, at the Delano City Hall. The meeting was called to order by the chair at 7:00 PM with the following members in attendance: Douglas, Johnson, Osmon, Milano, Seguin, Bodin, and Brasket. Absent: none

CONSENT AGENDA (approved unanimously)
Board approved the regular meeting minutes of 10-25-10 and 11-8-10 Canvass votes and 11-18-10 Joint Legislative Meeting, the current budget status with year to date adjustments, wire transfers, Minnesota Liquid Assets fund, cash report, revenue and expense fund totals, expense reports and disbursements; and donations.
PERSONNEL
Board approved resignation of Asst Golf Coach & Jr. High Gymnastics coach, Cheerleading Coach and HS/MS Food Serv Worker; hiring of Head Goys Golf Coach, 8th Gr. GBB Coach, 7th Gr GBB Coach, Varsity Gymnastics Coach, Asst, Gymnastics coach, 3 DES Special Ed Paras, a TAC Monitor, and a WSI Pool Aide, Contract Change for DMS Para decrease in hours.
ADMINISTRATIVE AND BOARD REPORTS
Board heard the following administrative reports: Supt. Sweet reported on CE video, Nurse Award and WCC restructure; MS Princ. recapped Nov. activities and bullying, HS Princ. reported on registration guide, new courses and in-service, ES Princ reported on workshop and conferences; Bus. Mgr reported submitting application for Sch. Finance Award; CE Director’s report is on the web.
Board heard reports from board members regarding MAWSECO, Wright Technical Center, Community Educ Advisory Council, Curr. Advisory Council, Schools for Equity in Educ., Delano Area Sports Arena, Safe Schools, Staff Dev. and City/School Task Group.

CITY OF LORETTOHENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTANOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Official notice is hereby given that the Loretto City Council will hold a public hearing on the Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Loretto City Hall, 259 Medina Street North, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon as the matter may be heard, to consider an application submitted by Adam Cerny and Eric Riley for a Conditional Use Permit to operate a motorcycle, snowmobile, and ATV repair facility in the General Commercial zoning district at 200 Medina Street North (City Code 420:35 subd.4 (e)).
Persons wishing to comment should appear at the hearing or address their written comments to the City of Loretto. If you would like further information regarding the project described above, please contact City Hall at 763-479-4305.
