Notice is hereby given that the POLICYHOLDERS ANNUAL MEETING of CROW RIVER MUTUAL INSURANCE COMPANY will be held on TUESDAY, April 6, 2010 – 7:00 p.m. at the Peace Lutheran Church – Peace Center; 400 Franklin Street SW; Hutchinson, MN for the purpose of transacting any business proper to come before said meeting. There will be an election of one Director to the Board. Filings for the Board must be done a minimum of 15 days prior to the meeting with the Secretary at the Home Office. There will also be a vote by the membership on the proposed Amended and Restated Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws of the Company. Copies of these changes are available prior to the meeting at the Home Office – 6 Franklin St. NW; Hutchinson, MN (M-F) 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or by calling 1-320-587-2209 and requesting a copy be sent to you.
Proxy votes for both the election of the Director’s position and the proposed changes to the Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws are available at the Home Office prior to the meeting.

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS - Sealed bids will be received until 8:00 A.M, April 9, 2010 at the Meeker County Highway Department, 422 south Johnson Drive, Litchfield, MN. 55355. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Meeker County Engineers Office on April 9th at 8:00 A.M., for the furnishing of all labor and materials for the bituminous paving of the following roads in Dassel Township: 240th, 250th, 705th and 743rd approximately 7.5 miles.

The Township Board reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid and reject any and all bids.
Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Corporate Surety Bond made payable to the Treasurer of Dassel Township in the amount of at least 5% of the bid.

Notice of Gravel Bids
Kingston Township
Kingston Township is asking for bids on gravel for 2010. In the past we have used approximately 7500 yards of class 5 gravel. Include in your bid class 5 gravel, road work assistance, wash outs and frost boils and you must work with our township board and grader operator. We will do a random test on gravel loads being hauled. Due to weather conditions there will possibly be emergency calls. If you have further questions call Gail Schiefelbein/clerk at 320-398-8400. STOCKHOLM TOWNSHIP
CALL FOR GRAVEL QUOTES
Stockholm Township is accepting the following quote for gravel:
A quote for approximately 4,000 yards (more or less at the board’s discretion) of crushed Class 5 gravel to be hauled on Stockholm Township roads or picked up with the township truck at the vendor’s pit.
All quotes must be submitted by mail to: Stockholm Township, Stockholm Town Hall, 15234 County Road 30 SW, Cokato, MN 55321. Quotes must be received by March 31, 2010. Please include the anticipated date of delivery with your quote. A Certificate of Insurance must accompany each quote.
Quotes must be on a per yard basis. The Town Board reserves the right to take random samples for quality, with an independent lab doing the grading at the township’s expense. The Township Board reserves the right to cancel or renegotiate the contract for under grade. The Town Board reserves the right to take quantity checks by weight using 2600# as a standard yard. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all quotes in the best interest of the township.
