ASSESSMENT NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That the Board of Appeal of the Town of Winsted, McLeod County, Minnesota, will meet at the Office of the Clerk at 201 1st Street North at 7 o’clock P.M. on Tuesday, the 20th day of April, 2010, for the purpose of reviewing and correcting the assessment of said Township for the year 2010. All persons considering themselves aggrieved by said assessment, or who wish to complain that the property of another is assessed too low, are hereby notified to appear at said meeting and show cause of having such assessment corrected.
No complaint that another person is assessed too low will be acted upon until the person so assessed, or his agent, shall have been notified of such complaint.

Important Information RegardingAssessment and Classification of Property
This may affect your 2011 property tax payments.
Notice is herby given that the Board of Appeal and Equalization for the city of Waverly shall meet on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers of Waverly City Hall, 502 Atlantic Avenue, Waverly, Minnesota. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made.
If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you are still not satisfied with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization. The board shall review the valuation, classification, or both if necessary, and shall correct it as needed. Generally, an appearance before your local board of appeal and equalization is required by law before an appeal can be taken to the county board of appeal and equalization.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
COUNTY OF CARVER
NEW GERMANY, MINNESOTA
INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
Notice is hereby given; the City Council of the City of New Germany will hold a public hearing at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the New Germany City Hall located at 300 Broadway Street East, New Germany, Minnesota.
The purpose of the hearing is to inform the residents of the 2011 Infrastructure Improvements in the City of New Germany. The proposed project consists of reconstructing all the sanitary sewer and watermain in the City, along with the reconstruction of all the streets, including curb and gutter. This project is being funded by the USDA through their Rural Development Programs. The City will receive grants for almost half of the cost to complete the project and a low interest loan for the other half of the project. This project will affect the City’s water and sewer user rates.
A copy of the Preliminary Engineering Report for the improvement project is available for review at the City Hall during normal business hours for more information.
All interested parties are urged to attend this hearing and give verbal or written testimony.
