NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Winsted will meet in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 201- 1st Street North, at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2010, to consider the McLeod County Road 116 and Third Street Improvement Project. This project includes street, utility and sidewalk improvements at the following locations:
• Third Street South (Baker Avenue to Sherman Avenue).
• McLeod County Road 116/ Sherman Avenue (Second Street South to Third Street South).
• McLeod County Road 116/Third Street South (Sherman Avenue to Albert Avenue).
• McLeod County Road 116/Albert Avenue (Third Street North to Fourth Street North).
• McLeod County Road 116/ Fourth Street North (Albert Avenue to Linden Avenue).
This project will be completed by the City of Winsted pursuant to Minnesota State Statutes §§ 429.011 to 429.111. The area proposed to be assessed for such improvement is Third Street South (Baker Avenue to Sherman Avenue). The estimated cost of the total assessment is $10,788. The estimated cost of the total improvement project is $733,480. A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing. Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the proposed improvement will be heard at this meeting.
