An aeration system creating open water and thin ice will begin operation on Winsted Lake, McLeod County, Township 117N, Range 27W, Section 2, 11, & 12, beginning December 18th, 2010, under permit DNR #F0904071.
Weather conditions may cause the area of thin ice and open water to fluctuate greatly.
STAY CLEAR OF THE MARKED AREA
Motorized vehicles on aerated lakes are restricted inside the zone marked “thin ice”.

WRIGHT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
NOTICE OF INTENT TO REPEAL
WRIGHT COUNTY TATTOO AND BODY PIERCING ORDINANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Wright County Board of Commissioners, during its regular meeting on Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at 9:30 A.M., will consider repealing the Wright County Tattoo And Body Piercing Ordinance. This consideration and discussion will take place in the Commissioners’ Board Room at the Wright County Government Center, Buffalo, Minnesota.
The Wright County Tattoo And Body Piercing Ordinance was adopted in 2002 for the purpose of regulating the businesses of tattooing, permanent cosmetics and body piercing so as to protect the general health, safety and welfare of the community. At that time, no statewide regulation of those businesses was in place.
The 2010 Minnesota Legislature passed a law resulting in Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 146B, regulating Body Art. This new law, the majority of which takes effect January 1, 2011, requires that body art establishments be licensed by the State, with periodic inspections to insure that health and safety standards are met.
