YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED, in accordance with the Lester Prairie Municipal Code, Section 5.1 Zoning, 5.1.4 Residential Districts, 5.1.4.2 (f) Special Use Permits, and 5.1.12.4 Special Uses, that the Lester Prairie Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 4, 2011, at 7:15 p.m. in city hall.
The purpose of said public hearing is to receive public input, orally or in writing, in person, by agent or attorney, regarding a special use permit request submitted by the City of Lester Prairie to construct a Water Treatment Facility on the East end of the City’s main park located off Second Avenue South. The property is located within the City limits. The City’s main park is zoned as an R1, Single Family District which requires a special use permit for a public utility building.
