The regular meeting of the Board of Education of Independent School District 879, Delano, Minnesota, was held on Monday, February 28, 2011, at the Delano City Hall. The meeting was called to order by the chair at 7:00 PM with the following members in attendance: Douglas, Johnson, Milano, Frake, Baker, Seguin and Brasket. Absent: None

CONSENT AGENDA (approved unanimously)
Board approved the regular meeting minutes of 1-24-11, special meeting on 2-22-11; the current budget status with year to date adjustments, wire transfers, Minnesota Liquid Assets fund, cash report, revenue and expense fund totals, expense reports and disbursements; and donations.
PERSONNEL
Board approved resignations of DES P-T Custodian and Asst Track Coach; hiring DES Speech Pathologist, DMS Track & Field Coach, TKC Student Aide, CE Golf Instructor and DES P-T Custodian; one family leave.
ADMINISTRATIVE AND BOARD REPORTS
Board heard the following administrative reports: Supt. Sweet reported on CE Boiler Proj. and communications; ES Prin Darren Schuler reported on Reading Corp., Para week and K orientation, MS Prin Renee Klinkner reported on Winter Activity Day, Volunteers, The Growl video, Spelling Bee, Math Masters, History Day, Clergy evening forum and Pennies for Patients, HS Prin Matt Schoen reported on conf registration, activities going on to State, workshop attended; Bus Mgr: reported on Procurement Cards and GASBY 54 and CE Dir. reported on donations received, registration for enrichment classes, arts programs, ECFE, Tiger Kids Club, Youth Dev and TAC classes..
Board heard reports from board members regarding MAWSECO, Wright Technical Center, Community Educ Advisory Council, Curriculum Advisory Council, Schools for Equity in Educ., Delano Area Sports Arena, Safe Schools, Staff Dev. and City/School Task Group.

The meeting adjourned at 8:47 p.m. The preceding is a summary of the official minutes. SPECIAL SCHOOL BOARD MEETING March 9, 2011
Delano Public Schools Independent School District #879, Delano, Minnesota
The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Board Chair Peter Brasket with the following members present: Peter Brasket, Tim Douglas, Sarah Baker, Amy Johnson, Lisa Seguin, Carolyn Milano and Erica Frake.
The board reviewed and discussed the status of the voter approved operating levy with representatives from the various governmental entities within the school district including: City of Delano, City of Independence, City of Loretto and Wright County Commission.
Lisa Seguin moved, Amy Johnson seconded to adjourn the meeting at 7:05 p.m.

SPECIAL SCHOOL BOARD MEETINGMarch 15, 2011

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Board Chair Peter Brasket with the following members present: Peter Brasket, Sarah Baker, Amy Johnson, Lisa Seguin, Carolyn Milano and Erica Frake. Absent: Tim Douglas.
The status of the voter approved operating levy was reviewed and discussed with about 25 school district patrons who were present.
Board Chair Peter Brasket adjourned the meeting at 8:35 p.m.

Nystrom, whose address is 122 Chestertown St., Gaithersburg, MD 20878, as a personal representative and for the appointment of Herbert Gregory Nystrom, whose address is 239 Deland Rd., Royalston, MA 01368 as a copersonal representative of the estate of the above named decedent in unsupervised administration, and that any objections thereto must be filed with the Court. That, if proper, and no objections are filed, a personal representative will be appointed to administer the estate, to collect all assets, pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, and sell real and personal property, and do all necessary acts for the estate.
