Assessment Notice
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization of the City of Cokato of Wright County, Minnesota, will meet at the Office of the Clerk in said City, at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, the 4th day of May, 2011 for the purpose of reviewing and correcting the assessment of said City for the year, 2011. All persons considering themselves aggrieved by said assessment, or who wish to complain that the property of another is assessed too low, are hereby notified to appear at said meeting, and show cause of having such assessment corrected.
No complaint that another person is assessed too low will be acted upon until the person so assessed, or his agent, shall have been notified of such complaint.

Dust coating is again available for dust control on gravel roads. The cost will be $.84/ft for new application (or full rate). Repeat application is $.055/ft. Both ends of desired footage must be staked! Notice is hereby given, that the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization of the Township of Collinwood in Meeker County, Minnesota, will meet at the Town Hall, 21904 746th Avenue, Dassel, Minnesota at 7:00-7:30 P.M. on Wednesday, the 27th day of April, 2011 for the purpose of reviewing and correcting the assessment of said township for the year 2011.
If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you are still not satisfied with the valuation or classification after conferring with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization. The board shall review the valuation, classification, or both if necessary, and shall correct it as needed. Generally, an appearance before your local board of appeal and equalization is required by law before an appeal can be taken to your county board of appeal and adjustment.

Notice is hereby given, that the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization of the Township of Dassel in Meeker County, Minnesota, will meet on Thursday the 28th day of April, 2011 at 7:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the Dassel History Center, 901 1st Street N, Dassel, Minnesota. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made.
If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you are still not satisfied with the valuation or classification after conferring with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization. The board shall review the valuation, classification, or both if necessary and shall correct it as needed. Kingston Township Special Town Meeting
The Kingston Township board will hold a Special Town Meeting May 3, 2011 at 6:30 PM. This meeting is being held to discuss the Fire Levy amount that was decided on at the Annual Meeting. Due to the Dassel Fire amount coming in after the Annual Meeting the board feels the amount should be lowered to adjust the amount to the actual amount being charged for services.
