WRIGHT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
COUNTY DITCH # 34
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Wright County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. to consider a petition by the City of Delano to outlet storm water from a proposed industrial park development into the County Ditch # 34 drainage system. The hearing and discussion for this proposal will take place in the Commissioners’ Board Room at the Wright County Government Center, Buffalo, Minnesota.
The lands involved in this request consist of approximately 220 acres and are located in the East Half of Section 3 and the Northeast Quarter of Section 10, of Franklin Township (T.118N. – R.25W.) The City of Delano proposal would require storm water ponding systems within the industrial park and would limit the stormwater discharge rate into the county ditch to pre-settlement conditions.
All persons interested in the drainage system are invited to attend and comment on the request by the City. At the hearing, the County Board will hear all interested parties and shall consider all evidence offered. Written comments can be mailed to:

Notice of Public Hearing on Fairlawn Circle Improvement
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Winsted, Minnesota will meet in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 201 - 1st Street North at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011, to consider the making of a proposed improvement project, the reconstruction of Fairlawn Circle between Fairlawn Avenue and the cul-de-sac of Fairlawn Circle and storm sewer improvements along Fairlawn Avenue from 500 feet southwest of Fairlawn Circle to Linden Avenue pursuant to Minn. Stat. §§ 429.011 to 429.111. The areas proposed to be assessed for such improvement are properties abutting Fairlawn Circle between Fairlawn Avenue and the cul-de-sac of Fairlawn Circle. The estimated cost of the improvement is $189,423. A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing. Such persons that desire to be heard with reference to the proposed improvement will be heard at this meeting.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Appeal and Equalization for the City of Waverly shall meet on April 28, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers of Waverly City Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been property valued and classified by the assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made.
If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you are still not satisfied with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization. The board shall review the valuation, classification, or both if necessary, and shall correct as needed. Generally, an appearance before your local board of appeal and equalization is required by law before an appeal can be taken to the county board of appeal and equalization.
