NOTICE OF APPLICATION
FOR LIVESTOCK FEEDLOT PERMIT
Notice is hereby given per Minnesota Statute 116.07 subd 7(a) that Woodland Dairy, Inc. has made application to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency for a permit to expand a feedlot with a capacity of 500 or more animal units.
The proposed feedlot expansion will be located on the existing feedlot site in Sections 16 and 20, Woodland Township, (T 118 N, R 26 W) Wright County, Minnesota.
The existing facility consists of 1270 dairy cattle over 1000 lbs (1778 AU) in total confinement with liquid manure storage and 571 dairy heifers (399.7 AU) in partial confinement with manure pack and open lots with runoff controls. The total animal unit capacity is currently 2177.7.
The proposed expansion consists of adding a 105’ x 250’ covered feed pad and a 165’ x 273’ covered feed pad with a 50’ x 50’ x 4’ runoff control basin and a 170’ x 650’ infiltration area. The total animal unit capacity will remain at 2177.7.
This publication shall constitute as notice to each resident and each owner of real property within 5000 feet of the perimeter of the proposed feedlot as required by Minnesota State Law.
