Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by Franklin Township Clerk/Treasurer until 5:00 p.m. (CST), Monday, March 5, 2012 for the purchase approximately 16,000 tons of Class 2 Granite. Product must be within 125 miles of Franklin Township as this bid is for materials only. Hauling is being bid separately.
Contract Documents may be seen at the office of the Township Clerk/Treasurer 545 Elm Avenue E, Delano, Minnesota 55328. Appointments requested 763-972-3741.
Bids shall be directed to the Township Clerk/Treasurer, 545 Elm Avenue E, Delano, MN 55328 securely sealed, and endorsed upon the outside wrapper “BID FOR 2012 GRANITE PRODUCT.” Clerk must be in receipt of bid on or before the due date & time set forth in this notice. This approximately 16,000 tons of Granite is to be loaded and hauled in BELLY DUMPS and applied to earmarked Franklin roads in Franklin Township, Wright County, Minnesota.

The special meeting of the Board of Education of Independent School District 879, Delano, Minnesota, was held on Monday, February 6, 2012, at Delano City Hall. The meeting was called to order by the chair at 6:02 p.m. with the following members in attendance: Johnson, Milano, Baker, Seguin, Durick and Brasket. Absent: Frake
Discuss Federal Jobs Bill Stimulus that funds several positions
Set date to interview applicants for open board position: February 14, 2012, starting at 5:00 p.m.
Board unanimously approved closing the meeting to discuss employee contract negotiations.
A Johnson reopened meeting at 7:00 p.m. in Delano City Hall Council Chambers to hear input on qualities desired in new superintendent.
The meeting adjourned at 7:47 p.m. The preceding is a summary of the unofficial minutes. The full text of the unofficial minutes is on file in the District Office, 700 Elm Avenue East, Delano, Minnesota and also available on the school districts website www.delano.k12.mn.us. The next regular meeting of the Board of Education will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Delano City Hall.
