FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP Notice of Electronic Voting System Public Accuracy Test (PAT)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 3:30 P.M. the Electronic Voting System Public Accuracy Test will be conducted at the Franklin Township Hall located one mile south of the Delano Dairy Queen - 8735 on Wright County Road #16. This test is to insure the integrity of the Annual Township Election that will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. The public is invited to view this test.

The regular meeting of the Board of Education of Independent School District 879, Delano, Minnesota, was held on Monday, February 27, 2012, Delano City Hall. The meeting was called to order by the chair at 7:00 PM with the following members in attendance: Johnson, Baker, Seguin, Durick, Milano and Brasket. Absent: Frake
APPROVAL OF MEETING AGENDA (approved unanimously)
PROGRAM REVIEW – School Lunch Program:
Kris Larson presented a review of the new nutrition standards that go into effect for the 2012-2013 school year.
CONSENT AGENDA (approved unanimously)
Board approved the regular meeting minutes of 1-23-12, special meeting minutes of 2-6-12, 2-14-2012 and 2-24-12, the current budget status with year to date adjustments, investment transactions, wire transfers, Minnesota Liquid Assets fund, cash report, revenue and expense fund totals, expense reports and disbursements; and donations.
PERSONNEL (approved unanimously)
Board approved resignation of Food Service Worker; recommendations of employment for three TAC staff, DHS and DMS long-term teaching substitutes, CE Admin Asst and DHS long-term paraprofessional substitute; Leave of Absence for TKC Paraprofessional requesting medical leave, DES Teacher requesting Family Leave extension, DHS Paraprofessional requesting medical leave, and DMS Teacher requesting Family Leave.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Heather Stowman, Ted May and Grant Ellis spoke about teaching staff.
ADMINISTRATIVE AND BOARD REPORTS
Board heard the following administrative reports: Supt. Sweet reported on the house bill for debt service transfer and updates on levy referendum equalization; MS Prin R Klinkner congratulated staff, parents, and students on the support and participation for the many activities that were held in the MS this past month and she also reported on the MCA field testing in reading that took place; HS Prin M Schoen reported CIS program and student preparation for upcoming testing; ES Prin D Schuler reported on MN Reading Corps; Bus Mgr reported on Comm Ed boiler rebate; and CE Dir reported on upcoming events and thank teachers, staff and parents for the support on the Pennies for Patients Fundraiser.
Board heard reports from board members regarding MAWSECO, Wright Technical Ctr, Community Educ Advisory Council, Curriculum Advisory Council, Schools for Equity in Educ., Delano Area Sports Arena, Safe Schools, Staff Dev., City/School Task Group, and an update on teacher negotiations.

LORETTONOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Official notice is hereby given that the Loretto City Council will hold a public hearing on March 13, 2012 at approximately 7:00 p.m., at Loretto City Hall Council Chambers at 279 North Medina Street, Loretto, Minnesota. The purpose of the public hearing is to set employee rates for billing.
Persons wishing to comment should appear at the hearing or address their written comments to the City of Loretto.
