The special meeting of the Board of Education of Independent School District 879, Delano, Minnesota, was held on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, in the Delano High School Conference Room. The meeting was called to order by the chair at 5:38 p.m. with the following members in attendance: Johnson, Milano, Baker, Seguin, Durick and Black. Absent: Brasket.
Resolution Canvassing Returns of Votes for School District General Election (approved unanimously)
Approve the canvassing of the November 6, 2012, election results and the resolution as presented for the election of the four-year term school board members.
Resolution Canvassing Returns of Votes for School District Special Election (approved unanimously)
Approve the canvassing of the November 6, 2012, election results and the resolution as presented for the election of the two-year term school board members.
Resolution Canvassing Returns of Votes for School District Special Election (approved unanimously)
Approve the canvassing of the November 6, 2012, election results and the resolution as presented for the expiring $426.86 referendum revenue authorization.
Resolution Canvassing Returns of Votes for School District Special Election (approved unanimously)
Approve the canvassing of the November 6, 2012, election results and the resolution as presented for the additional $325.00 referendum revenue authorization.
Resolution Authorizing Issuance of Certifcates of Election and Directing School District Clerk to Perform Other Election Related Duties (approved unanimously)
Approve the resolution as presented.
Discussed special meeting protocol and superintendent communication with board members.

Mayor Graunke called the special workshop of the Delano City Council/Economic Development Authority of Tuesday, October 16, 2012 to order at 6:00 PM.

Members Present: Dale Graunke, Mayor; Council Members Holly Schrupp, Betsy Stolfa, Dan Vick, and Derek Schansberg
Members Absent: None
Also Present: Phil Kern, City Administrator; Brian Bloch, Finance Director; Paula Bauman, Recorder
3. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS
A. Discuss 2013 Budget, Levy and Capital Improvement Plan.
Council discussed specific areas within the departments and projects to save and reduce money. Staff will adjust the General Fund expenditures and revenues to discuss at a future meeting.
B. Discuss City Council and Mayor Salaries.
The consensus of Council was to make no changes to the current salary rates.
4. ADJOURNMENT
